Will the Necromancer be resurrected in D3 ?
People are talking and crying outIt seems that the Witch Doctor will “replace” the Necro as we know it … a sad thing indeed. It was the first character i played Diablo 2 with and i planned to make it my first in D3 also ..
Why does Blizzard want to scratch the old characters is beyond me, but it is a very bad idea! We all have great memories playing a certain class, and are very attached to it. This makes me hate the WD even more now that i know it was the Necro killer..
Still there is a hope, the Witch Doctor can replace the Druid from D2 having the power to control the animals and nature. This would mean that the Undead Wall should disappear from the WD’s arsenal and get back where it belongs
Not sure what to say.. it is too early.. but i do hope that the Necromancer will appear in Diablo III

I disagree… I’m not gonna say, “If nothing would change, you might as well play Diablo 2 again” because obviously that’s not what you advocate… but I do think it’s good for Blizzard to explore new options and not stick to everything as it is – again, you didn’t say “everything” but I’m using the term loosely here.
By the way, this article uses kind of poor grammar…
September 11th, 2008 at 12:46 pmI totally agree with you Vincent, i want Blizzard to make bold changes. I was a bit sad to hear about the Necromancer.. I certainly don’t want D3 to be the next D2.
